SLEEPOVERS AND GROWING UP

Both boys have had sleepovers this week, Thomas on Thursday night in readiness for a group of his mates going into town on Friday for the day.

David had his with one of his football buddies on Friday night and then they went to training on Saturday morning.

Last night and tonight both boys will be getting earlier nights in readiness for back to school on Monday for David and Tuesday for Thomas.

I also have to take up Thomas' new school trousers as he popped out of his others at the end of last term. These are now age 14-15 with a 30" waist.
He really is growing into a young man, he's only 1 inch shorter than I am and already in the same size shoe as Dave.

Thomas has a football match today, kickoff 12.30, which the team really needs to win; if they do and the next 2 results go right they will finish 2nd in the league; which should mean promotion to the next league up and a big fancy presentation night in Newark. (so all bits are crossed)
